WhyIslam DC Launches a Cable TV Ad in Baltimore City and Howard County
Alhamdulillah, after a successful ad campaign with billboards on I-95 last year, WhyIslam-DC is now launching the “Your Muslim Neighbors Invite you to Explore Islam” campaign on Comcast cable TV channels throughout Baltimore city and the Howard County area. These ads will be running from February 28th through March 14th, 2011 on channels like Comedy Central, ESPN, Fox and TNT during popular TV shows like The Daily Show with John Stewart, as well as during commercials of talk shows by Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, etc. Click here to watch a sample ad.
This commercial is part of a nationwide initiative to fight ignorance and prejudice about Islam and Muslims. Similar ads have been run in cities such as Nashville, San Francisco, Dallas, Staten Island and are expected to play in many other parts of the country. Will you not support this cause?
