ICNA Relief on the ground…
Hurricanes Gustav and Ike have Blown Away; ICNA Relief USA Remains on the Ground. Since September 27, 2008 the IKE Recuperation Center has been in operation, managed by ICNA Relief USA. Open daily from 1pm to 5pm, the center, partnered with the FEMA and the American Red Cross, serves Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), bottled water, ice, cleaning supplies, cat litter, laundry detergent, wipes, etc. There is also a doctor on site to help with minor medical issues.
