Volunteers Needed for ICNA Relief Washington DC Metro Area

ICNA Relief USA (www.icnarelief.org) provides domestic disaster relief and social services to under served populations within the United States. It could be emergency relief during floods, hurricane, or earthquake or every day basic human needs through feeding the hungry, operating food banks, women shelter/temporary housing and/or other social services. ICNA Relief headquarters’ in New York but has 14 field offices across the nation, New York, Boston, Detroit, Houston etc. Recently ICNA/ICNA Relief USA decided to establish a field office in Metropolitan Washington, DC area to serve District of Columbia, Maryland and Virgina. Br. Nehal Shah has been assigned the responsibility to start, establish, and run the work. As a first step we are making an effort to form a team of volunteers. This team will assess the current efforts, available opportunities, plan, and execute the efforts as needed inshaAllah.
